I'm looking for a face for a college age guy. Hair, eyes, build... all flexible, because I'll figure most of it out once I find the face. The definite needs are:
1. Has lots of good facial expression icons, ranging from puppy eyes to anger to happy and all things in between.
2. Has at least some icons of him performing with a guitar (or bass, I could switch him to being the bassist).
3. The character's gay, so any icons that could be used to imply that would be awesome.

I'm going to trawl through some archives, but I am also looking for ideas for this family set of OCs. I'd like most of them to be blond or have light brown hair, if possible, gray hair is ok for the father, though.
1. A blonde teen who intends to be a professional ballerina, tentatively I'm considering Amanda Schull but I was wondering if there's anyone who looks a little younger -- I'm aiming for looks 14/15 but with a similar physique
2. Her expressive 11 year old sister... a child actress who has done a variety of wigs/hairstyles/roles would be perfect here.
3. Her 21 year old brother, athletic with a business casual style, versatile expressions (can both be 'tough guy' and approachable people-person)
4. Her father, kind of a jack of all trades life coach/entrepreneur in his early 40s, bonus points if you can find him doing domestic stuff too
5. an upbeat woman in her 30s, who is often found outdoors

I am indecisive.
The post to hold previous support/mentors for the next round at gamemaker went up. I know I'm keeping Ash (barring him becoming unplayable if Achilles dies, which I WILL HAVE TO SEE.) But I'm on the fence about Dray.
On the one hand, I really enjoyed having a Stylist and getting to try to come up with outfits and things. On the other hand, he's the only confirmed spot for his District, and I have trouble keeping him active now when his Tributes are deaded. (Other than commenting now and then on other people's stuff.) And I do think an Escort will be fun, too, though I think I'm definitely doing an Escort at a future game when it opens. I could move him to a different District (It would make sense for him to take over 3, given his history, if that post goes open, but he likes helping the hopeless a little I think.) And I kind of like the idea of one of the newer Victors who isn't mentoring yet, too.
So. I AM UNDECIDED.
I also totally want the male Tribute for 4 this time, specifically because OMG MAGS-BRAY-SHYNNAH-GIL-FIONA. I just want in on that. But I think there are people who already have 4 concepts going, so I don't want to snag anyone's spot. And I've got a cannonfodder Tribute planned too, which shouldn't be a problem because he can slide in to any of the non-Career spots.
Also Ash & Achilles kind of make my life, even when they're logging in weird dreaming worlds.
And reading the end of Chip's death log, when Satine had AN IDEA, I totally thought she was going to cut off his ginger dick there, for a second.
I need to go fill in Ash's narrative placeholder and comment spam, instead of mindlessly rewatching Game of Thrones. And I officially won/lost Death Bingo. SO FEW LEFT NOW, OMG.

I'm looking for actresses in their teens/twenties with pixie cuts. Even if it's only in one movie or something. Or even above the shoulders short haircuts.
Thank you!

Alright, gang, I'm currently trying to look for a PB that could pass for a younger version of Briana Evigan, since it's for a de-aging event at a game I'm in using her as a PB for an OC.
Any help would be appreciated!

That would be the 2010 film starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Not a huge fan of either actor or actress, it didn't snag my attention until I kept catching glimpses of it on a hotel TV during vacation.
It was actually really fun. It was energetic and tongue in cheek and nobody took themselves too seriously. You got the sense that the writers really liked their characters, and the story they were telling, and it leaked through. June was naive and out of her depth and freaked out but also super-competent and full of energy and resilient, and never chided by the narrative when she messed up or got swayed by foes. Though Roy, Tom Cruise's spy character, was extremely good at what he did as a matter of course, he wasn't played as super dramatically smooth or dramatic; he was not a James Bond. He was kind of hilariously off-kilter, eccentric and most often sweet in a vaguely creepy way (which June responded to appropriately with hilarious faces.) Also he had the best response to an earnest sexual proposition I've heard in ages.
All in all, it was a good send-off, a light fun action flick that was funny and actually pretty sweet, not requiring us to use our brains too much on an exhausting evening after a day spent preparing for half of our family to suddenly have to leave the state.

On a positive note, though, Rebekah's reaction to Matt turning her down was basically exactly the same as her reaction to Elena stabbing her in the back, except less extreme, which means that Rebekah's reaction to Elena is basically identical to her reaction to her crush blowing her off.

It is simply staggeringly offensive on so many levels that the narrative supports Damon - that we are supposed to feel sympathetic - when he says ‘I love you’ to Elena. He abuses her.
Abuse. Is. Not. Love.
It’s disgusting and shameful that we have to remind full goddamn grown adults of this fact. It’s disgusting that when a woman tells a man no and he forces himself on her anyway, continuing a pattern of abusive and controlling behaviour, when she later reminds him that she isn’t grateful for his violations and manipulations, he throws a violent temper tantrum - that is narratively supported as a good thing because it saved somebody’s life - and she is made to feel ashamed for it.
She is made to feel ashamed for telling her attempted rapist she doesn’t want him.
This show, ladies and gentleman! This show.
I honestly think that rather than ‘this guy is treating her like shit and she’s finding ways around it’ we’re supposed to view Damon’s controlling abusive behaviours towards Elena and her rebellion as a morally or emotionally conflicted situation rather than a victim circumventing a rapist’s control. And that, in case anyone needed to be updated, is a huge damn problem.
Also Matt Donovan continues to treat ladies like shit. I'd give him a pass for it this evening if it wasn't a reminder of the way he treats all women he doesn't think he's gonna get something out of. (Or Caroline, his devoted emotionally fragile abused girlfriend, whom he knew that he would get something out of no matter how badly he treated her.)

The thing about Mary Sue culture is that it isn't the fact that these women are beautiful or intelligent or skilled or charismatic that fandom so hates; it's that those facts are celebrated, appreciated, taken and/or presented without a denigrating and derisive filter of sexism. You'll notice that if they're put down, abused or painfully self-conscious there's much less of a negative response to simple admirable qualities (unless they're accused of whining or sneered at for having a low self-esteem, but that's merely a part of the fandom practice of belittling and dismissing the suffering of female characters and even castigating said characters) as long as they're, you know, kept in their place. (Sometimes almost - or exactly - verbatim.)

Just missing one face for the family. The mother is Mariska Hargitay, and the kids are Michael Trevino, Nina Dobrev and Steven R. McQueen. We just need the dad and I'm not sure who would work (someone suggested Mariska's husband but I'm not set on him just yet), the thing is he also has a kid whose Abigail Breslin with someone else. So someone who could pull off being their father.
thanks :)

Hi all! I need help finding a PB for an OC.
My character is in his late twenties/early thirties. He is pale white, shaved head, definitely rocking the skinhead look. I need him to look intense but not crazy, or cruel. He's actually a very zen person, though he has a violent past, and those tendencies sometimes bubble up within him. He's also a cross dresser, but that doesn't have to be reflected in the PB's image (they don't have to have pictures in women's clothes).
I've waffled through Ewan McGregor from Trainspotting and Tim Roth from Made in Britain, but they both look a little too "heroin-chic." I'm thinking a little more mass. The best picture I can find is actually of China Mieville, but I feel kind of weird using it because I've met him in real life! Also, from other angles he isn't quite right. It'd be nice to have just a few images to cycle through.
Thanks!

Even with killing off BOTH my Tributes, I remain bingo-less. I am adopting Julie's philosophy that LAST to bingo wins. So I AM WINNING.
I have been useless for tagging since the death. Though I think we did a pretty nice job with the lead up and then the actual scene turned out nice . . . for, you know. Murder. gamemaker is doing another round. livelovehump, adozenpapercuts, this is relevant to your interests. For reasons that involve me yakking at you about it for the last monthish. (I HAVE BUNNIES ALREADY.) ( Cut for death related blather )I need to finish stuff. I need food, and to do stuff.

This show simply cannot give up on drumming in, 'hi, we're writing a shallow, insincere, exploitative and hateful show. Our text is misogynistic. Our characters are misogynistic. Our metatext is misogynistic and moreover it is trivializing on a staggering, mind-boggling scale towards rape victims (women? allowed to be react negatively to the men who hurt them? Not on this show! Tee-hee, not as long as said men are hot and white.) and simply flat-out, bald-facedly celebrates violent rapists who take pleasure in denigrating and brutalizing young girls, who revel in it, who brag about it to the young women under threat of such actions from them, and who are not even once remorseful for their actions and are never once punished for these actions. We think they're super cool and their behaviour is desirable and 'rogueish' and 'cheeky!''
(Do not even try to argue 'desirable.' They actively reward that behaviour, they actively support that behaviour as part of the personality of a character intended to be attractive and they never, ever narratively condemn it (hey, guess what, having a young woman brutalized, raped, violated, brain-washed, tortured and abused by this man get to push him once without ever actually naming what he did to her is not narratively condemning it) beyond a few rote 'that's bad!' with no repercussions that last longer than forty minutes, it is actively portrayed as part of a 'cool' personality, the list goes on. 'That's ~edgy~ and ~bad~ but so exciting!' is not condemnation.)
Like, constantly. It will not let up. It will not allow me to compartmentalize because it can't let an episode go by without inserting a scene of violated young women, probably victims of rape, posed in sexually available ways and tight clothing, magically forced to be subservient to our pleased and gloating heroes - women who will never be saved, narratively speaking, because I will never know what happens to them, I will never know how they recover, how they or their families process the trauma of at best missing memories, I will never know how they struggle with and process the pain they feel. Their story will be tossed by the wayside with utter, excruciating indifference.
And their audience says 'who cares about harm done to those living, thinking, feeling human beings as long as they have breasts! Here, let me pay you to further celebrate rape culture, that doesn't interfere in my enjoyment at all!'
This show's approach to its women is essentially as if there was a procedural show that involved a young woman being kidnapped and raped and beaten and locked in a cellar, and we're shown this gratuitously throughout the episode - or multiple episodes of an arc - while the criminal swans about being rewarded in every possible way with wealth and pleasure (and when he is thwarted by someone more powerful, someone he can't hurt, he opens that cellar door and he goes down and he hurts her some more to make himself feel better, but the screaming is insignificant because he cries a few pretty, pretty tears while he does so) and at the end of the episode he links arms with our supposed detectives or doctors or cops and walks off into the sunset.
Leaving her locked in the basement, terrified, agonized, victimized, and voiceless. And we aren't supposed to care.
And most horrifying of all, most awful of all, most evocative of how rape culture, abuse, misogyny and the worldwide epidemic of violence against women continues to thrive, their audience fulfills that expectation in every possible way.

I'm making an In Time OC, generally I have a PB in mind before I start something like this, but for once I don't.
What I need is a young woman who looks like she stopped aging physically at 25, but is actually almost 40, she's lived most of her life on the wrong side of the tracks, but is still pretty enough to make it in high society.
I also tend to not like using 'popular' PBs, so someone a little out of the regular circles would be appreciated.

I need a manipulative bastard...
Public
satisfied

I'm in desperate need of assistance, mostly because I suck at finding PBs and for this, I really need the perfect fit.
Basically, I want to create an account for Reineke Fuchs, for Reynard the Fox and whatever else he's called in various countries. The fox from the fables that makes life a pain for everyone else, especially wolves and lions. ;)
So, I need a PB that's expressive, because he's manipulative and a good actor. Definitely one that smiles a lot, grinning, smirking, all of that. It'd be a bonus if the hair had some fox-colored tint to it, reddish or whatever. Since I'm going a lot by the original German stuff, a white, caucasian guy seems most appropriate.
I'd want him to be good-looking, that kind of rugged charm someone who gets by by manipulating others needs to have. Definitely charismatic...
Additionally, if anyone knows whether anyone ever iconed pictures of foxes, that'd be useful, too. ;)
Thanks!
Found!
Thank you for all your help, gave me a better idea on what I'm looking for and now I've found it in the shape of Garrett Hedlund!
